Dropstr HTML 5 Updates

Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out a new option for our users to enable HTML5 on their Dropstr Cloud. What this will do is enable where deemed fit to which flash applications such as Youtube videos into HTML5 compliant video streams for embed video players.

Best example is the new Apple Ipad device, which uses HTML5 to play videos via youtube. Once you enable this option vis your Settings, Dropstr will convert your saved YouTube videos on the fly to HTML5 compliant.

Imeem Issues

Many of you who may have embedded songs from Imeem.com have noticed the removal and the posted MySpace ads. Myspace has acquired Imeem about a month ago and have changed the way you can add songs to your Dropstr Cloud. Unfortunately, there is no way to embed those songs again into your folders unless MySpace has the licensing rights.
